About WebMold

WebMold started with a simple idea: web development should feel more visual without taking control away from developers.

We’re building WebMold as a visual HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development environment where you can work directly with the structure and code behind a website instead of being locked into a proprietary page-builder ecosystem.

With WebMold, you can visually create and edit web elements, work with real HTML and CSS, import existing projects, manipulate classes and selectors, and export the result as a real web project.

Our goal is bigger than creating another drag-and-drop website builder. We want WebMold to become a powerful, open, developer-friendly foundation for building and editing the web visually.

WebMold is open source and released under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 (AGPLv3). This means everyone can use, study, modify, and contribute to WebMold under the terms of the license.

We’re building this project openly and continuously improving it. Support from sponsors helps us dedicate more time to development, improve the editor, add new capabilities, fix bugs, improve documentation, and turn WebMold into a mature tool that developers can rely on.
